Holy Shark! They’re Back!!

“Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!” aired on Syfy, and as expected this third go-round was so bad it was a great.  Actors Ian Ziering as Fin Shepard, Tara Reid as April Shepard, and Cassie Scerbo as Nova Clarke returned for their third bite, and were joined by a star studded assemblage of actors, celebrities, and politicians.  Once again series writer Thunder Levin, wrote a bigger crazier than the last one script with bigger tornadoes, more wild shark-stunts that included sharks on a roller coaster, and sharks in space!

New characters included the maverick reality TV tycoon and star of “SharkTank” Marc Cuban as President Marcus Robbins, Political Columnist & Commentator Ann Coulter as Vice President Sonia Buck, with David Hasselhoff as Fin’s dad Gilbert Shepard, and Bo Derek star of the movie “10” as April’s mother May Wexler.

Additional Cameos from Actor/NBA star Rick Fox, TMZ’s Harvey Levin, Illusionists & Entertainers Penn and Teller, and former U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner, added to the campy off-the-wall plot line.

As before Sharkicanes (shark infused tornadoes) run amok, as hundreds of man-eating sharks wreak havoc along the east coast from Washington DC to Orlando Florida.  Sharks attack a NASCAR race at Daytona and eventually invade outer space!  As per usual, the script is masterfully directed by Anthony Ferrante, who guides the actors into and out of situations jam-packed with high-jinx and mayhem.  The story comes to a climatic conclusion when Fin, April and Gilbert chase the Sharkicanes into space aboard the space shuttle.

In the fade-to-black cliffhanger, Fin and April are ejected from the space shuttle, Fin survives, April is swallowed by a shark, gives birth to her son, cuts her way out of the shark’s belly, and ends when a piece of the doomed space shuttle crashes onto her.   This time around Sharknado devotees get to decide if April lives or dies.   And our decision is … Oh hell yes! Bring on Sharknado 4! #AprilLives
