Planet 51 is set to premiere on November 20th…and already has lots of buzz.
The film is a recreation of 1950s science fiction films where our beloved planet Earth faced constant extinction by alien space invaders. The irony of this flick is that it features an alien planet terrified of — a human astronaut.

The film grossed 20.7 million over Halloween weekend, but numbers were lower than what Sony anticipated. However, the film still took the number one spot.
In addition, the two week screening of the movie has been extended to Thanksgiving weekend.

The longest-running children’s program on US television, Sesame Street, celebrates its 40th anniversary next week and the tributes to this influential kids’ show have begun to spring up. Just today, Google.com altered its logo to include a pair of orange legs with yellow feathers where the “L” usually is.
